The shirt
Will EWUA 001 be restocked?
No. The edition is 50 pieces across all sizes, and once they are sold this shirt will not be made again.
How does it fit?
A relaxed Japanese cut: standard width, cropped at the waist, with slightly oversized sleeves. Most people take their usual size. See the size guide for measurements.
What is it made of?
7.5 oz/yd² heavyweight cotton, 100% grown in the USA, knit from 16 singles yarn, with a rib collar that has 3% Lycra so it holds its shape.
How do I care for it?
Wash cold, inside out, with similar colours. Hang to dry. Do not iron directly over the print. Heavyweight cotton can shrink a little in a hot dryer.
What do 今ここにいる and 永 mean?
今ここにいる means “I am here now.” 永 means eternity. It holds all eight basic brush strokes, which is why calligraphy students learn it first, and it is the seal in the EWUA logo.
Orders and shipping
When will my order ship?
Every order is packed by hand in the studio and ships within 2 to 4 business days. You will get a tracking number by email as soon as it leaves.
How much is shipping?
$8 for one shirt in the US, and $5 for each extra shirt in the same order. It ships by USPS Ground Advantage and usually arrives 2 to 5 business days after it ships.
Do you ship outside the US?
Not yet. We ship to US addresses only for now.
What comes in the box?
The shirt arrives folded in black tissue inside a black matte gift box, sealed with the 永 sticker, with a 4×6 card of the sketches behind EWUA.
Can I return or exchange it?
Yes, within 14 days of delivery if it is unworn and unwashed. Size exchanges depend on what is left of the 50. The details are on Shipping and returns.
The studio
Where is EWUA made?
In a small basement studio. Each piece is made individually, starting from a heavyweight blank premium garment.
What is coming next?
